Tenuta Boncore Salice Salentino Reserva 2011

The aroma is inviting with tones toward dark chocolate, licorice, caramel and figs.  The same impressions are present in the taste, which also has a pleasant balance between acid, tannins and sweetness from the sun-ripened grapes.  The wine has been in barrels for 24 months.  The color is medium.  Perfect for conversation at a nice dinner.

Information:  90% Negroamaro and 10% Malvasia Nera  Serve 68 - 70 F.  Should be decanted 1-2 hours. Drink now until 2017
